For which purpose is your personal data processed?

The IDIS FOUNDATION is an entity whose aim is to promote improvements to the public’s health and showcase private healthcare.

For this reason, at the IDIS FOUNDATION we process the information provided to us by data subjects, for the purposes stated below, insofar that there are legal grounds for each case of processing:

1. Management of the quality accreditation system of the healthcare centres set up by the Fundación.

2. Complying with legal obligations applicable to the IDIS FOUNDATION. On specific occasions, the IDIS FOUNDATION will need to process patients’ Personal Data to comply with certain legal obligations. These include the IDIS FOUNDATION processing Personal Data in order to comply with the obligations established in existing health, tax and personal data protection regulations.

What is the legitimacy for the processing of your Personal Data?

To be able to connect professionally with people and organisations connected to the IDIS FOUNDATION and/or its collaborators.

To manage your data regarding entries for the journalism awards organised yearly by the IDIS FOUNDATION.

To manage associates' or collaborators' joining the IDIS FOUNDATION.

Your data is collected by express, free and unambiguous consent on your part, for the above-mentioned purposes.

Complying with legal obligations applicable to the IDIS FOUNDATION (Compliance with the obligations established in existing health, tax and personal data protection regulations).

Having legitimate interest in the processing of personal data such as internal administrative purposes of the IDIS FOUNDATION or so that we can better respond to your expectations and improve your level of satisfaction as an associate/collaborator.

 

How long is your data retained?

Your request must include a copy of the DNI (National ID document) or equivalent, accrediting your identity. We may request additional documentation if the request is made for a minor or person with disabilities, when representing someone, or regarding a deceased person.

In addition, you have the right to file a complaint to the control Authority (www.agpd.es) if you consider that the processing does not comply with current regulations.
